How Nigh is the End?

Although the end of the world has been announced several times throughout history, every prediction has failed thus far. The next hot date is 2012, but I think that we will experience a situation similar to the year 2000 which some thought to be the year of the return of the Messiah.

Yet, although I am not a prophet or a visionary, I strongly feel that this time we are not far off, and the reason is very simple: we need a Savior to prevent us from killing ourselves and the planet through ignorance, arrogance and greed.

Yes, the frequency of wars still increases, there’s the threat of terror everywhere, we are witnessing drastic climate changes, new diseases emerge and old ones (mutated or not) are returning, there’s turmoil in societies on a global level, an exponential explosion of knowledge has occurred (if book print was a revolutionary invention, computer technology combined with internet communication has a much greater and more profound effect on all aspects of life as we know it), weapons of mass destruction are now available to insane psychotic individuals, there’s an ongoing development of weapons hitherto only known to Science Fiction movies (the most bizarre of which I find to be the disputed so-called 'psychotronic' weapons).

And then there is one area where we may very well be killing ourselves and life around us while believing ourselves to be walking on the path to paradise, and that is in the field of biotechnology, where experiments are conducted through genetic engineering without scientists being able to make accurate predictions of the outcome nor being able to immediately reverse unexpected mutations once they occur. This branch of science can have a most profound and far-reaching effect on life on our planet.

This truly is something to worry about, and when left in the hands of scientists who reason from their own limited knowledge it has the potential of wiping out the human race, and possibly every other species on earth.

Have you ever seen the documentary ‘Silent Forest’?
It deals with genetic experiments carried out on trees and plants.

Genetic engineering is a term that describes the practice of inserting genetic information (DNA) into the cells of a living organism, usually using a bacteria or a virus. This DNA can be extracted from a completely different plant, animal or micro-organism in a way that would never be possible to occur in nature, or be achieved through cross-pollination.
Since genetic engineering is a relatively new field it often yields unexpected results, and that is where the danger comes from. If you take a male and a female of a species and study their offspring you’re looking at vertical inheritance within the species.
Genetic engineering by taking the gene from one species and taking them to another species is a completely different unnatural phenomenon, an experiment through horizontal inheritance OUTSIDE the species.

Genes function within the entire genome, and the insertion of one gene affects the entire genome where, as a result of the insertion of the new gene, certain other genes may be turned on and off. Because of this, NO ONE can accurately predict the outcome of taking just one gene from one species, and inserting it into another species.

Our bodies have been fine-tuned to the food nature produces, and the moment when one begins to tamper with the gene structure of food, who is to say what the effects in the long term will be on our organism and other organisms that feed on the genetically altered food. Something that previously worked in perfect harmony with our own organism is being altered, at the risk of our body responding to the alien organism in unpredictable ways.
Today bio-engineered products are used in the production of our foods and medicines without our knowledge, and without public discussion about the subject.

And how about genetically engineered trees?
Trees that are herbicide resistant, trees that have been inserted with pesticide DNA so that the entire tree becomes toxic to insects and kills them, sterile trees and trees that have reduced lignin, trees and plants that are engineered with a gene which makes them resistant against pesticides (which of course encourages the use of pesticides by farmers).

The negative side-effects shown by experiments demonstrated that pesticide producing trees (in this case BT Toxin) also killed non-targeted insects, thus upsetting the balance of the food chain and the ecological balance in nature.

There’s another problem, namely that insects build up immunity to pesticides, requiring therefore the use of ever stronger pesticides. The end result? Super bugs resistant to pesticide come into existence, the farmers’ traditional pesticides have become useless, and we are stuck with trees that are poisonous from cradle to grave.

To add to the dangers already mentioned, research has shown that genetically engineered trees containing BT toxin are leaking this toxin through their roots into the bacteria in the soil, and these bacteria spread out to drinking water and areas where corn was grown. The soil in these areas had approx. 5 times as much BT toxin as normally would be the case. Crops with too much BT toxins have been shown to be the cause of chronic respiratory illnesses and allergies in human beings, and who knows what else.

Pollens can carry genetic information of the engineered trees for hundreds of miles, thus having the potential of affecting the entire planet. This could mean the equivalent of lung cancer for mother earth.

Furthermore, if you grow genetically engineered trees and plants that have a gene which makes them resistant to a certain pesticide, what do you think the reaction of the farmers will be when they see those crawling critters in their crops? Yes, “let’s double the amount of pesticide, because it only kills the bugs”. But we are the ones EATING the sprayed crops.

The company Monsanto, who defended the use of DDT, is currently the world’s leading promoter of genetically engineered crops. They now claim that the use of RoundUp is safe, in spite of the fact that a study of farmers using glyphosate (=the main active ingredient in Monsanto's pesticide RoundUp) showed they have an increased risk of miscarriages, cancer (non Hodgkin lymphoma), and premature births. Glyphosate also is shown to have devastating effects on birds, fish, etc.
And of course glyphosate leaks into ground water.

Interestingly when you play with the company’s name, Monsanto, you get Mon Saton, and it almost reads like “Mon Satan, Ton [Satan]” (=My Satan, Your [Satan]), or "Nom Saton" (=Name of Satan).
If you wish to know more about Monsanto's practices you can read more here.

So, should we blindly trust companies like Monsanto?
Let me give you the answer of Monsanto's director of Corporate Communications, Phil Angell, as quoted in 'Playing God in the Garden':
"Monsanto should not have to vouchsafe the safety of biotech food. Our interest is in selling as much of it as possible. Assuring it's safety is the FDA's job."
How about that for corporate responsibility and accountability?
Interestingly John states in Revelation 11 that God will come to "..destroy the destroyers of the earth". People sometimes forget that God is the Creator who won't tolerate it if vandals try to slash his paintings with a knife.

I highlighted just a fraction of what is happening right now under our very noses in the genetic engineering industry, which, in its fanatic worship of Mammon, is turning our natural habitat into a potentially very toxic environment.

There also is another form of genetic engineering, which is the engineering of human beings in order to upgrade them to a version 2.0, the man-made human.
Just the other day I read this article which speaks of experimenting with the creation of a possible human-animal hybrid. I find this development VERY worrisome, because although many scientists will promote an upgraded, disease free human body as a vast improvement, NO ONE can accurately describe in detail what makes us human beings IN THE IMAGE OF GOD.

This phenomenon of experimentation with human DNA is not new at all. The Bible speaks in Genesis 6 of angels who left ‘their natural habitat’ and cross-bred (carried out genetic experiments) with earth women (as well as with animals, and one wonders if dinosaurs and the likes were originally created by God).
The women produced a mutated, stronger giant offspring, but this offspring had the side effect that 'it was continually evil'. As the genetically mutants multiplied themselves, they upset the balance of creation to such a degree that God was forced to drastically intervene and wipe out the mutant offspring from the face of the earth through a flood. Only Noah was described in the Bible as ‘blameless’ (the word in Hebrew indicates a physical characteristic), and he was saved from destruction together with pairs of animals that had not been genetically tampered with.

In other words, aliens coming from another dimension visited earth, equipped with an understanding of genetics and the effect of the DNA in our blood on the status of human beings as a physical and metaphysical amalgamation carrying characteristics of God, and they nearly wiped out the human race through genetic experimentation. Earlier God had already announced that He would restore the human race to its former glory through a Savior born from the lineage of Eve, so what better way to prevent this from happening that by polluting the human bloodlines and create a human-looking hybrid as a substitute?

Interestingly when you look at the mythology of the various peoples of this earth you’ll find gods and semi-gods that are part animal, part human, with supernatural abilities.
There are several references to ‘giants’ having 6 fingers on each hand and 6 toes on each foot with double sets of teeth, creatures with such a great appetite that they acquired the habit of eating human flesh. I find it very awkward that the existence of giants and the reference to giants in literature as well as the skeletal remains of giants are so much ignored in the scientific community.

Also, contact of alien visitors with mankind is a subject you will encounter everywhere in ancient history.
The African tribe the Dogons for instance knew about the Sirius star system, which they said to be a triple star system at a time when western astronomers were convinced it was a binary system. Only later in 1995 astronomers discovered a third star. The Dogon claimed they had received knowledge about the stars from visitors from another star system. They certainly could not have gleaned their knowledge from observation.

Ancient history is a fascinating subject, because it is shrouded in mystery and incongruities if one adopts the traditional view of linear development from the primitive ape-man to modern day man.
Actually, certain scholars have adopted the idea that the progression towards our current technological knowledge may not at all be as linear as we are led to believe, and that perhaps advanced technology may have existed already in ancient time. It’s a fascinating subject, but to write about it here falls beyond the scope of this post.

Later, after Israel had been led out of Egypt to return to the land God promised to Abraham, we again find reference to the occupation of the Promised Land by mutants, giants, which cause the Israelites become discouraged and despondent to the degree that they were forced to wander in the desert for another 20 years due to their lack of faith. Of course, after learning about God’s promise to Abraham about the Promised Land, what better way to obstruct God than by carrying out the ancient practice of genetic engineering and placing the mutant result in the Promised Land after Jacob left?
Moses makes a clear reference to Og, the king of Bashan, whose bedstead was nine cubits in length, four cubits in its breadth (scholars estimate the cubit to be between 1.33 – 2.2 feet, which would make Og to be somewhere between 11.7 – 19.8 feet tall; how would you like to play basketball with such a guy?).

But I am digressing here.
The point is that Yeshua made a specific reference as to what the situation would be like at his return when He stated: “As it was in the days of Noah, that is how it will be when the Son of Man returns”. This puts the current experimentation with the human genome in a different light.
I think if there ever was a time in history pointing to an imminent return of the Messiah, it is the time we are living in.

Anyway, time will tell.

Hello!

I want to comment about the return of the Messiah with this quote: “All of the NT prophecies indicate that the return of "" should have paralleled the restoration of the State of Israel, within the same generation (40 years). According to the prophecies, the return has occurred but, again like the prophecies (Hebrew Ma•tit•yâh′ u 24.37..), "As it was in the days of No′ akh… they did not know until the Ma•bul′ came and picked them all up." Christian doctrine holds the self-contradiction that, although "every eye shall see him," the masses will be entirely unaware of his return!

All Christians understand that this means "every eye" of those "in the know" (assumed to be Christians) will see him while all others will remain unaware. What a jolt for them to discover that they are the ones who didn’t see his return, that it was they who are being "Left Behind" unless they flock to Tor•âh′ !
In light of all of this, and corroborating all of the prophecies in Ta•na"kh′ plus those in The Nәtzârim Reconstruction of Hebrew Matityâhu (NHM), the return of Rib′ iYәho•shu′ a has to be a return "in spirit." Only the manifestation in the Nәtzâr•im′ , reinvigorating his authentic teachings (his spirit) as an historical Pharisee, makes sense of Rib′ i Yәho•shu′ a returning to satisfy all of the prophecies. It’s also the only rational and scientifically-compatible solution not requiring a supernatural magical event (that contradicts an Unchanging Perfect Creator of perfect laws of the universe)… and the kicker is: he’s teaching Tor•âh′ , not, lә-hav•dil′ , Christianity!!!

Thus, after 2,000 years, "the Return" of the messiah turns out to be a revival of his Spirit in the form of his restored Tor•âh′ teachings, not a magical character making people disappear from an airplane. Conclusion: the Nәviy•im′ and Rib′ i Yәho•shu′ a (as recorded inThe Nәtzârim Reconstruction of Hebrew Matityâhu (NHM)) referred to the return of the Mâ•shi′ akh Bën-Yo•seiph′ "in spirit."” (source: www.netzarim.co.il)
