Numbers as Prophetic Keys for the Future - 4

…Length of the Final Week...

Before we go deeper into the subject matter of the final week I first want to quote the scriptures pertaining to the length of the final week as found in the Bible.

“Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint who spoke, ‘How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?’
And he said unto me, ‘Until two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.’”

Daniel 8:13,14

“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week; and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease. And for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate."
Daniel 9:27

“And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was upon the waters of the river, 'How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?'
And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by Him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished scattering the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.”

Daniel 12:6-7

“And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days [3.5 years + 1 month].
Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
[3.5 years + 1 month + 45 days, or 44.5 months]”
Daniel 12:11-12

“But the court which is outside the temple, leave out, and measure it not, for it is given unto the Gentiles; and the Holy City shall they tread under foot for forty and two months [3.5 years].
And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days
[= 3.5 * 360 days], clothed in sackcloth.”

Revelation 11:2-3

“And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days [3.5 years, 3.5 * 360]
Revelation 12:6

“And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time [1 year + 2 years + 0.5 year], from the face of the serpent.”
Revelation 12:14

“And there was given unto him a mouth, speaking great things and blasphemies, and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.[3.5 * 12 months]”
Revelation 13:5

From these verses we see here how the final week is subdivided into two parts, and the latter part is literally expressed in terms of the prophetic years, i.e., a year subdivided in 360 days.
This makes me wonder if the earth and perhaps the moon’s orbits will be restored to their former orbit also in this final week, perhaps due to the gravity of a passing large object?
Maybe, maybe not.

In any case, in my calculations I have included the possibility of an event which changes the orbit of the earth around the sun, thus arriving at a minimum length and a maximum length.

In the last chapter of Daniel we also find a reference to this period, where 1290 days are mentioned.
In comparison to the timeframe of the antichrist, 42 months, or, 1260 days as referred to in Revelation, the time of an extra lunar month is added.
So, the persecution by the antichrist will last 1260 days from the middle of the final week, then one month follows, and then we have the cryptic reference ‘blessed is he who waits and comes to the 1335 days’.

We read how the daily sacrifice will cease from the middle of the week.
In the passage quoted from Daniel 8 we read from the moment the sacrifices in the temple in Jerusalem will be resumed, until the end of desolations of the temple caused by the antichrist will be 2300 days.
If we combine the two scriptures this means that 2300 – 1260 (second half of the week) leaves 1040 days in the latter part of the first half when the sacrifices in the temple have resumed.

If this first half consists of 365 days per year this means that the first half will contain 3.5 * 365 + 1 = 1278.5 days (2012 is a leap year and contains 366 days).
If the first period contains the minimum 360 days per year it will contain 1260 days (2012 will in that case no longer be a leap year), so a variation of a maximum of 18.5 days is possible in the length of the first half of the final week.

In case the year will be 365 days in length in the first half the temple services will be resumed 1278.5 – 1040 = 238.5 days after the beginning of the final week.
In case the year will be 360 days in length in the first half the temple services will be resumed 1260 – 1040 = 220 days after the beginning of the final week.

So, reckoned from the beginning of the final week the temple service will resume at the earliest after 220 days, and at the latest after 238.5 days.

If we take Yom Teruah 2010 as the starting point of the final week we can conclude the following:

a. if we count 220 days from Yom Teruah 2010 (Oct/9/2010) we arrive at May/17/2011
b. if we count 238.5 days from Yom Teruah 2010 (Oct/9/2010) we arrive at June/05/2010

May 17th 2011 is in the middle of nowhere, and June 5th 2010 is three days before the rabbinical date for Shavuot 2011, June 8th.

However, we need to keep in mind that the date for Yom Teruah 2010 is the date IF a leap year would have to be added to the 2009/2010 Biblical year.
If that is not the case, then we would see the following results:

a. if we count 220 days from Yom Teruah 2010 (Sept/9/2010) we arrive at April/17/2011
b. if we count 238.5 days from Yom Teruah 2010 (Sept/9/2010) we arrive at May/06/2010

April 17th 2011 is right before Passover on the rabbinical calendar, and May 6th 2010 is just an ordinary date.
April 17th looks like an interesting date, but, not only is it unlikely, it also will shift the dates for the Feasts due to the fact that this calculation is based on changed orbits for the earth and moon.
Although the building of the Temple can be done quickly since preparations have been made for the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem for many years now, I still think it would take a year at least to finish the building, do the cleansing, and be ready to resume sacrifices.

This would mean that the latest possible date for beginning the rebuilding of the Temple would be around Shavuot next year IF 2010 is indeed the starting point for the final week (and as I have shown, many clues are pointing to 2010).

…Counting the Entire Final Week...

After calculating a date for the Temple services to resume based on the assumption that Yom Teruah 2010 is indeed the starting point of the final week, we now will proceed to make some calculations for the entire week.

I need to stress beforehand that these calculations are based on shifting grounds and cannot be accurate due to the fact that certain events may take place during the final week which will/may affect the trajectory of the earth around the sun and perhaps the duration of the lunar orbit around the earth.

This truly makes the day of Yahshua’s return a ‘day of which no one can know the day or the hour’.
Because of this uncertainty it is impossible to determine any end date accurately.
Nevertheless, I will proceed to use the data we have gathered thusfar and we will see where it will take us.

Our point of departure is once again Yom Teruah 2010 in two carnations:
one based on the assumption that for 2009/10 a leap month must be added to the rabbinical calendar, and the other based on the assumption that NO leap month needs to be added to 2009/10 rabbinical calendar.

We then proceed along the lines of what I have written earlier: the second half of the week is based on a year of 360 days in length, and the first half can vary depending on when a change of the length of the year would take place.
This causes the first half of the week to have a minimal length of 3.5 * 360 = 1260 days, and a maximum length of 3.5 * 365 + 1 = 1278.5 days.

We have the following categories for the amount of years to be added to Yom Teruah 2010:
a. first half + second half
b. first half + second half + 30 days (the ‘1290’ days of Daniel 12:11)
c. first half + second half + 75 days (the ‘1335’ days of Daniel 12:12)

These three categories will be calculated twice: the first time for the scenario of a first half which has the minimum 1260 days, the second time for the scenario of a first half having the maximum of 1278.5 days (3.5 * 365 + 1 day for the leap year 2012; the leap year of 2016 is not taken into the calculation because the period of the second half of the final week is fixed in the Bible at 1260 days).

None of the dates coincide with a day of the Feasts on the rabbinical calendar of 2017, which is not surprising considering the prophetic indication of altered orbits for at least the earth, and possibly the moon as well.
On the current rabbinical calendar, September 20th 2017 is the day before Yom Teruah, and October 2nd 2017 is two days after Yom Kippur.

However, I think we will see that all current projected dates for the future become garbage the moment the earth’s orbit is shortened and the lunar orbit around earth is lengthened.
And will the lunar orbit change simultaneously with the earth’s orbit? Will the lunar orbit change?
What we CAN be sure of is that in this scenario all the projected dates for the Feasts of 2017 will change, and we have to think in terms of Feast days shifting more than a week.

There is an indication that the ‘1335’ days will take us to the feast of Chanukah in 2017, the feast remembering the rededication of the second Temple (and perhaps also the third Temple?).

We are dealing with so many uncertainties here that we have to limit ourselves to making approximations.

So, don’t be surprised to read in the newspaper the announcement of the plans to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem one of these days.

When that happens, be aware that the time of war is at hand, first and foremost in the Middle East, but possibly (and likely) including other areas on the planet, and that nuclear arms will be used in that war.
Life will never be the same afterwards.
I will go into more details in a next part of this series.
