The Cash Flow

It’s money which makes the world go round, and it’s money which turns the heart around.
So, if the ruler of this world is Satan, then surely his middle name must be Mammon.

Is it not for the enticing promises of Mammon that men become what they profess to despise, is it not for the sake of Mammon’s dreams of grandeur that men will sell their very souls?

The service of Mammon is so widespread that we no longer are surprised at news items about corruption among those who have an income which is more than the average Joe will ever see in his entire lifetime.

Politics has become a very lucrative way to augment the income of politicians at the expense of the average Joe who has a hard time making ends meet.

All too often when the expenditures exceed the budget, the deficit is solved by imposing more and/or higher taxes.
Thus the people pay for the failures of their leaders, and as long as there is money to get from the people politicians inevitable manage to get away with their failures unscathed.

No wonder Pilate asked the question: "Truth? What is truth?"
It's the same question resounding through today's political arena. That's what happens when lies become your truth: amnesia of what truth really is.

In the worship of Mammon more is never enough: more requires more, and more again, because in truth Mammon’s belly is a bottomless pit, never satisfied, never full, always hungry.

Just as we no longer are surprised to see the worship of Mammon in politics, we deem it a natural phenomenon when it comes to the world of finance where indeed more is never enough.
Even the worst manager seems to be able to walk away with a golden handshake as long as he worked in service of Mammon where truth is what financial advantage dictates it to be, and where integrity exists in the service and devotion to Mammon.

To think the worship of Mammon should stop at the doorstep of philanthropic or religious institutions is wishful thinking at the best.
On the contrary, where people open their hearts and wallets with noble intentions, corruption seems to thrive like nowhere else.
The cash flow for a seemingly worthy cause knows MANY side-streams leading to leaches sucking their belly full under a legitimate cover.

People bleed and give, the leaches feed and live, and make people bleed some more, while Mammon calls the shots once more.

Like YHWH has His holy mountain and his instructions carved on tablets of stone, Mammon lives on his own depraved mountain where he carved his instructions on tablets of gold held out in promise to the avid practitioner of Mammon’s religious service.
The mount of Zion is turned backward and becomes the mount of Noiz, the sound of truth from YHWH is morphed into the noiz of lies from Mammon.

The wealth of the Catholic church and its minions is only too well known, but also in the Protestant camp the calling of the man of God has been transformed into a profitable profession for the well-to-do educated man of knowledge.
Any ‘calling’ is tantamount to the call of becoming one of Mammon's trained monkeys.

So, is it any wonder that even in religion so little truth and so many lies are to be found?
If the heart is impure, how can the lens of the soul be receptive to the purity of the heavenly realm, how can the jewels of truth make a home in the muck of a pigsty?

But Satan KNOWS how to make a pigsty appear as Mammon's palace of golden promises, he KNOWS how to make demons and unclean spirits pass for expressions of YHWH's Ruach HaKodesh, not only blaspheming the Holy Spirit in the process but also reducing worshippers to complete idiots.
You can see this in action in the many clips at YouTube where you can find people howling, screaming, shaking on the floor, crawling around, all in the name of Jesus for the glory of YHWH inspired by the Holy Spirit.
How can being part of such a circus spectacle be uplifting and inspiring, how can anyone fall for such a con-trick and allow themselves to be debased by evil spirits? Does the Holy Spirit express Himself by making someone howl as a dog to YHWH or crawl around as an animal, or is it the work of an unclean spirit?
I sure hope the answer is self-evident to you.

Then there are religious icons who venture higher up Mammon's golden mountain by becoming independent.
Become a guru, invent a new denomination, create a personality for people to believe in, Wall Street propaganda infiltrating the place of the holy.

Oh, how they love to stress the importance of ‘tithing’ and being generous, seducing their victims with the mantra that the more they give, the more they will receive, a sure lever to yield an ever increasing stream of cash flow for THEIR ministry!

Create greed to need to feed your own need to greed!
Any con-man worth his salt knows this principle only too well.

Like the ilk of the infamous Benny Hinn with his private jets to fly him and his gospel across the globe, all for the good of the kingdom of course.
Question is: WHOSE kingdom?

False prophets are Mammon's cloaked losses, Mo-losses for the damned. Their only purpose to YHWH is that of sticky paper to catch the flies.

Hallelumammon!
That is the hidden credo which drives them all, wrapping itself in a pristine pure robe of white linen, seeking to inspire worship of Mammon dressed up as the prosperity-Jesus for today's breed of self-serving believers.

What a stark contrast between the likes of Hinn and believers in countries such as North Korea or Iran who stand to lose their lives for their love for Jesus!
All too often they work hard for a living, and after work they have to meet in secret underground gatherings, knowing all too well that attending such a meeting may cost them their lives.

And how the Mammon ilk of preachers love to inspire their beneficiaries to 'name and claim it all' in the name of Jesus! It's like the wizard's magic formula.
It's just a way to trap people into the service of Mammon, just as they are trapped.

Make sure you offer your donations, then name it and claim it in the name of Jesus and like magic it's yours.
Actually, this IS magic, just read my post on praying in the name of Jesus.

Just because Jesus provided us with a pardon for our sin it does not mean He automatically gave us an entitlement to come into His palace and reach into His treasure vault to take as we please.
Greed-driven requests are not authorized by Jesus, they carry the stamp of approval of Mammon.

When I read about the disciples and apostles I cannot see anyone of them accumulating money for themselves or pursuing a luxurious lifestyle, quite the contrary.
Often they had to endure hardship and make ends meet whichever way possible.

Paul wrote about how he, -since he did not want to burden anyone-, earned his bread by performing manual labor at times, even though as a fulltime messenger of the gospel he was entitled to at least some recompense for his efforts.

Unfortunately all too often the saying that 'a laborer is worth his wages' ends up as a cover for living in service of Mammon by pumping up the volume of those wages.
All in the 'service of the kingdom' and 'for the good of the message' of course.

Only one disciple secretly worshipped Mammon, and we all know how Judas ended up, don’t we? In the end his worship of and obedience to Mammon became the noose around his neck.

Or maybe money is not the carrot at the end of Mammon's stick, but rather esteem, recognition, spiritual air to puff up king Ego.
The office of prophet has begotten popularity on the internet like never before.
"After all, a prophet is as close to God as anyone can possibly get, a man from whose mouth escape the oracles of YHWH Himself, so if I'm a prophet, I'm closer to God than others, a man of importance, and I should receive honour and recognition as such."

And so the prophets and abundantly-anointed suddenly proliferate complete with blessings and curses escaping from their mouths in the same breath, slaying with their tongue any dissent mercilessly, in the name of God of course.

All too often the truth about prophets is forgotten, which is that usually they are the misfits who suffered rejection and persecution because of their message, the ones who stood out like a sore thumb.

Not so with the hordes of vanity driven internet prophets preaching the Molasses gospel!

Have they forgotten the stern warning to be found in Deuteronomy 18.20?
"But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die".

This is true for the likes of Muhammad right down to the many self-made prophets or teachers today claiming to have 'a word from the Lord'.

Why then do so many preachers, ministers, teachers, prophets-and-whatever-title-people-like-to-bestow-on-themselves, continue to turn their hearts and souls over to Mammon for the vain pursuit of dreams of comfort, wealth, recognition and prosperity?
Dreams are not real, and sooner or later we ALL get our wake-up call.

Even in the movement which purports itself to be the ‘final transformation of the church’ I could not help but notice so many sizeable paunches among 'leading figures' within this Messianic movement.
Those bellies do not come into existence because they suffer from severe hunger, hardship, or some metabolism disorder.

Just the other day I heard of a well known Torah teacher named Glenn McWilliams executing the last phase of a long-planned hostile take-over of Michael Rood’s ministry in true Judas fashion, using the donations for Rood to further his own cause and increase not only his own salary but also the paychecks of McWilliams’ relatives, according to the words of many eye-witnesses.
How anyone can teach YHWH's commandments and stoop so low is beyond me.
You'd be inclined to think that of ALL people HE should be aware of the consequences, wouldn't you?

Earlier this year I found out how the representative of an orphanage in India I sent money to assorted to lies and tricks to get me to send donations when PayPal announced it would stop all money transfers to Indian charity causes.
Up to that point I trusted him, yet when I suddenly was confronted with a man resorting to lies and tricks the red flag went up faster than the speed of light.

Have we arrived at the point where absolutely no one at all can be trusted anymore?
I personally have sent money to worthwhile causes every month, because I think it’s important to learn to give and help our fellow man in need.
But in all honesty I have to say that I have almost run out of worthwhile causes that I can trust to put my money to good use.
All too often the money ends up being used to build little personal empires, welfare isles for 'God’s' men to live comfortably, monuments in the cloaked worship of Mammon.
Armed with this knowledge how can anyone contribute either directly or indirectly to the welfare of a privileged few pretenders having turned YHWH’s affairs into a profitable business of their own?

The thing which really can make me angry is when I see ordinary people giving money with good intentions, hard-working people who do not have much to give, and the ones who profit the most of those well meant donations are leaches who live at the expense of those people.
Like mosquitoes feeding on the flow of blood in a person’s veins they (secretly) tap into the cash flow for their own ever increasing needs.

Perhaps this is why the Son of the Almighty drove out the merchants from the temple: when money is involved, the righteous and honest YHWH usually has to give up His rightful throne to the depraved and corrupt Mammon, and all which remains is worship in the service of the debased presence of the demon on the throne.

No wonder James, Jesus' half-brother, wrote(James 5.1-6:):
"Come now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted and your garments motheaten.
Your gold and silver are cankered, and the rust of them shall be a witness against you and shall eat your flesh as it were fire.
Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
Behold, the hire of the laborers who have reaped your fields, which you kept back by fraud, crieth; and the cries of those who have reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.
Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth and been wanton.
Ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.
Ye have condemned and killed the just, and he doth not resist you."

James' words are not the beginning of a socialist manifesto, they are a warning against the worship of Mammon in all it's diverse cloaks, especially the cloak of religion.

Lest the idolaters should forget: YHWH has the responsibility of Judge, and He WILL judge those who pretend to work in His service but who in reality work in service of Mammon.

If you receive donations make sure you do not use them in service of Mammon by virtue of your greed and/or your desire for comfort, luxury or recognition, because you certainly will go the way of Mammon.

Remember the words spoken by Malachi:
"But who can endure the day of His coming?
Who can stand when He appears?
For He will be like a refiner's fire or a launderer's soap.
He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; He will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver." -Malachi 3.2-3

Know that the words spoken by the prophets to not only political leaders and people in key positions, but also those who have taken up religious positions are destined to come to pass:

Isaiah 56.10-12:
"His watchmen are blind; they are all ignorant; they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark, sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand; they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
‘Come ye,’ say they, ‘I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.’"

Ezekiel 34.2:
"Thus saith the YHWH Adonai unto the shepherds: Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?"

Jeremiah 25.34-36:
"Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye leaders of the flock; for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished, and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel.
And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the leaders of the flock to escape.
A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and a howling of the leaders of the flock shall be heard; for YHWH hath despoiled their pasture."

Be pure and upright in all that you do, and if you have to live on donations be of impeccable integrity.
If possible, seek your own source of income outside of your calling so that your calling is completely separated from the realm of finances.

But if you will not listen and pursue the path of Mammon and his ever elusive dreams, don’t be surprised to see your self-created crystal cathedrals come falling down before your very eyes in the hour of YHWH’s power.
Their shrapnel surely will become a public monument to your idolatry and a warning for all. Remember that repentance is a gift, and there comes a time when the iniquity is of such proportions that YHWH will withhold the gift of repentance, as in the case of Judas. He sought it, but he could not find it.

A laborer certainly is worth his wages, but all too often the supportive role of the wages is exchanged for a dominating role.
If a preacher or pastor belonging to a certain denomination is confronted by a perversion of truth within the leadership of that domination, how many of them will dare to stand up and forfeit the comfort of the paycheck? All too often their silence is a witness of their hidden worship of Mammon.

That's the reason why YHWH did not give the Levitical priests an inheritance of land in Israel: the possession of land and worldly goods all too often turns the allegiance of the heart of a man around from a pure devotion to YHWH to a devotion to the lures of Mammon.
YHWH was the inheritance of the Levitical priests, and so they should remain pure and kadosh.

Ancient man needed to see his god in a tangible, physical image of gold or silver.
Today the image of Mammon rules through the hunger for silver and gold and the illusions of security, comfort, luxury and esteem associated with them.
He uses a perpetual hunger to give man incentive to worship him and apply his commandments above all else.
That's where man becomes the enemy of YHWH as he bows in his heart before Mammon and exchanges YHWH's truth for Pilate's credo: 'Truth, what is truth?'
