Forbidden Gates
Now that the creation of synthetic life by man is an established fact the inevitable question arises: what makes a human being human?
Suppose a vaccine would arise which modifies our DNA to make us immune to a virus, or a DNA altering substance which significantly lengthens the life span of a human being and makes him resilient against many diseases, to what extent would that alter us as human beings?
If children are born with re-engineered DNA, will they still be human?
The Bible makes it clear that there is no salvation for beasts because they do not need to be saved, whereas human beings are fallen from what they were created to be, and are in need of salvation from their fallen state.
In Yahshua YHWH has created a way for all human beings to be saved from death and destruction.
YHWH also created a fixed order for the various animal species and the human species, and human species and animals remain strictly separated.
But when scientists start playing God and merge human DNA with animal DNA, to what extent will the resulting lifeform still be human?
And who can tell exactly what kind of experiments have already been conducted in laboratories in the realm of the modification of human DNA and the possible merger of human DNA with beast DNA?

For those who live in denial of the Creator and have adopted an evolutionary philosophy the merger of human DNA with animal DNA is not much of an issue, since in their view we evolved from the animals.
But if the ultimate outcome of the evolution theory is that through his experiments with DNA modification man is about to engineer his own destruction, then the price of the widespread acceptance of this theory and the spiritual ignorance is very high indeed.
The Bible book Revelation speaks of a time when the image of the Beast will come alive, and question arises what is meant by the 'image of the Beast'?
All those who have received the 'mark of the beast' (a mark indicating genetical modification?) are destined for destruction, 'YHWH's wrath'.
For any human being there always was forgiveness in the case of idol worship, if those involved in the idolatry would repent of their ways and return.
How can it be then that those who will worship the Beast in the Bible book Revelation seem to be unable to repent? This could be explained if they no longer are human and therefore salvageable, but rather a creature which has no place in YHWH's created order.
Could the 'image of the beast' be the emergence of a synthetic lifeform, or the rise of a hybrid human/beast creature?
And since human beings are more than flesh and also have a gateway to heaven of hell, what will come through the gateway of a hybrid human/beast creature?
In ancient Greek mythology there is mention of creatures which are a blend of human and beast DNA, and could it be that perhaps there is some truth to the myth because beings from another dimension (watchers or fallen angels) experimented on human beings?
In his latest dramatic promoclip for his upcoming book 'Forbidden gates' Tom Horn asks profound questions concerning our future in a very compelling way.
